Frequently Asked Questions

  • What version of Scripture will you be using?
For legal reasons, we will be using the public domain King James Version of the Bible (1769 version). Since most bible publishers have rather restrictive terms on the use of their translation we have decided this is the best way to go.
  •
  • Will it really just be one verse a day?
No, we will use up to 10 verses (1-11, 10-20, 11-21, etc.) for each entry and no more. While you can’t get the full Gospel message in such small snippets, this is how we feel led to operate this ministry.
  •
  • Do you take requests?
Yes and no. If we haven’t covered that verse (or group of verses) we will put it into our queue as quickly as possible, otherwise we encourage you to download the appropriate file via the blog or torrent.
  •
  • How will you make this available for download?
As indicated above, we will have torrents and the individual files for download. Once we get closer to having a full book or chapter read from the Bible, we will also be offering the files up in special collections that will put them in order as they are found in Scripture. That is something that the full details are still being worked on so we cannot promise a date of availability.
  •
  • Do you record on Sunday or the Sabbath?
Since God intended the Sabbath as a day of rest and western Christians typically go to church on Sundays, recordings will be made on some other day, most likely Wednesdays, and everything will be uploaded and posts automated for the following week (Wednesday to Tuesday).
  •
  • Will you preach or teach on the Scripture posted?
No. This is a ministry of God’s word, and while God can inspire men to teach accurately on His word, this is one area that we feel has been sorely abused. Again, we feel led to provide just the Word without any accompanying commentary. We would be more than happy to discuss with you any questions you may have, but we would request that you don’t ask just for the sake of playing Devil’s Advocate. He doesn’t need one and we do not need division.
  •
  • What about guest speakers?
It is possible, but none are planned for the foreseeable future. This is about God’s Word, not human personalities.
